Event - Join us to celebrate the launch of the new edition of Working with Interpreters in Mental Health

Careif is delighted to invite you to celebrate the launch of the second edition of Working with Interpreters in Mental Health, edited by Professor Rachel Tribe (Chair of Careif), Dr Kate Thompson and Dr Hitesh Raval. The event takes place on Thursday 17 September at the University of East London, with short presentations, a live interpreting demonstration, and networking.

The evening will include short talks and discussions offering both interpreters' and clinicians' perspectives on working across language and culture, working with BSL interpreters, working with adults, adolescents and young adults, working with people who have lived through traumatic events, and working with interpreters in family therapy.

Speakers on the day include Dr Kate Thompson, Professor Rachel Tribe, Philip Messent, Yvonne Waddell, Dr Ferelyth Watt, Dr Laura Kemmis, Ann Salter, Dr Natasha Nascimento, Dr Claire Marshall and Professor Rachel Wicaksono.
