Careif partners with ‘Unspoken’, a South Asian mental health film festival

Careif is delighted to be an official partner of Unspoken - a mental health film festival, for the second year in a row. The film festival will be screening a number of films in London between 9-11 October.

Careif has been actively engaged in the planning of the festival along with colleagues from Tongues on Fire who are hosting the event in  partnership with Careif,  and the charities Concern for Mental Health and the Psychiatry Research Trust (PRT).

The festival  should be  both  an enjoyable and informative event. There will be three days of powerful films,  discussion, panel question and answer events.  Topics will include but are not limited to the following topics -  mental health identity, family, culture and what is means to grow up South Asian.

Careif Trustees Professor Rachel Tribe and Dr Koravangattu Valsraj Menon will be moderating various panel discussions relating to the films being shown as well as talking about the work of Careif.
