Happy birthday careif from New Zealand

Congratulations to Kam and Albert on reaching this milestone in careif’s work. They are shown here receiving their award from our friends in New Zealand, presented at our celebratory event in the House of Lords, on 26 October 2016. Dinesh coped magnificently with the Maori proverb it bears:

He aha te mea nui o te ao

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata

(What is the most important thing in the world?

It is the people, it is the people, it is the people)

Magna Carta for people living with Mental Illness

Congratulations to Albert and all those who have contributed to this landmark initiative: a charter for people with mental illness, their carers and professionals. This publication coincides appropriately with careif’s 10th anniversary which will be celebrated in the House of Lords on 26 October 2016. Stand by for more news on this significant work.
