New Careif book - watch our launch video

To celebrate the launch of our new book Social Justice, Social Discrimination, and Mental Health: Theory, Practice, and Professional Issues we spoke to the authors who contributed chapters who talked about the importance of their work. This video summary collates some some of their many thoughts.

Please note that a captioned version of this video is available on YouTube.

Professor Afzal Javed OBE, Immediate past President World Psychiatric Association, commented on the book:

“This book provides a comprehensive account of issues that are likely to shape the future development in this area....Authors from various disciplines come together to share their learning and experiences to provide an overview which will be helpful for service planning and provision. Anyone with an interest in this  topic will find  this book a valuable addition to this important subject.”

We thank Careif Associates Aspa Karyofylli and Keith Bradnam for filming and editing these interviews.
