Careif supports UK and international students on the University of London MSc or diploma in Transcultural Mental Healthcare, or a certificate in Mental Health Care which is available through conventional teaching or as a distance learning programme. It focuses on improving people’s cultural capability in health and social care, and provides training in research. It is open to professionals from a wide range of disciplines and nationalities and gives people a broad knowledge of issues relating to mental distress amongst those from diverse cultures. Students undertake a placement, research project or critical review, regular tutorials and written exercises.

careif also provides training and development programmes at Certificate and Diploma level on Cultural Competencies, Strategic Leadership and Mentoring, Legislation and Clinical Practice. In addition there is also the MSc, Diploma and Certificate in Clinical Psychotherapy and Psychological Treatments.
